Enamel and Ink

Hand stamped jewelry may have enamel/ink in stamped areas. unfortunately over time this will most likely wear out due to metal not being overly porous to hold ink.  The at home remedy is to fill it with a sharpie/permanent marker to keep looking fresh. Wearing your jewelry in water, any oils or daily wear and tear can escalate the process of fading ink.

Sizing 

If your jewelry needs to be sized at home the best method to a perfect fit would be to bend tail end/opening. Bending at the tail ends decreases the risk of your piece creasing at the top, creating the chance of a weak spot over long periods of time.
